Information about Our Bonsai Workshop?

  • 📍Flexible location: In either our city center store location (Amsterdam / Leiden/ the Hague), or at your home/ office. The workshop is offered in both Dutch and English. We charge €50 to come to your location (we will reach out separately for this payment). But this fee is free for a larger group of over 20 people.
  • No Expertise Required: suitable and fun for beginners. 
  • During the workshop: You will learn all the basic knowledge about bonsai, plus how to trim and wire it. We will provide all the materials.
  • Work on your own bonsai: the workshop price does not include a bonsai, and we encourage you to bring your own bonsai. However, if you do not have a bonsai, you need to purchase a bonsai in the store during the workshop (with a 40% discount).
  • Free bonsai for large company / private groups of more than 10 people: every participant will receive a medium sized bonsai for free to work with.
  • For large company workshops: Reach out to us to discuss potentially discounts, and paying by invoice

Booking Details:

  • Group Size: Workshops are designed for groups starting from 8 people. Adjust the quantity based on your party size. Larger groups of more than 20 -100 people is welcome, and the workshop will take place in your own office/ event location.
  • Plan Ahead: To ensure a seamless experience, try to book at least a week in advance. Last-minute bookings? Reach out to us first! 
  • Schedule your Workshop: afternoons are also possible (email us first). If you do not see your desired time listed, email us here: [email protected]

How to Book:

  1. 🛒 Book directly: contact us if you cannot book your desired time.
  2. 📅 Specify Details: select your desired location on this page.
  3. 📧 Confirmation: Receive an automatic confirmation email right after booking, and another reminder 1-2 days before the workshop. 

 

FAQs:

  • Workshop Duration: The workshop will last for about 1,5 - 2 hours. But it is possible to be longer or shorter based on your needs.
  • Does the workshop include a bonsai: The price does not include a bonsai. You need to bring your own bonsai, or purchase a bonsai in the store during the workshop with a 40% discount. 
  • Free bonsai for large company / private groups of more than 10 people: every participant will receive a medium sized bonsai for free to work with.
  • Take your new bonsai home: We provide wrapping materials, including paper for packing and standard paper bags, and we have boxes upon request. But we recommend bringing an extra fabric bag for easier transportation.
  • Add participants / Reschedule: You can always book first and add more participants later. You can reschedule/ cancel with ease and get a full refund with 48 hours' notice or opt for rescheduling for last-minute changes.
  • At a different location:  For a larger group, we can potentially host the workshop in your location if it is within 1 -2 hour drive from our store locations. Reach out to us before booking. We charge €50 to come to your location (we will reach out separately for this payment). But this fee is free for a larger group of over 20 people.
